Al Ain Day Trip
On this day trip you'll get the chance to see stunning oases, palaces, mountains and a fascinating camel market. Experience the traditional Arabic essence of Al Ain.
Al Ain Day Trip
After picking you up from your hotels in Dubai at 9 am, we'll head south-east on an hour and a half-long bus ride to Al Ain, located on the border with Oman. Our journey will take around 1 hour 45 minutes.
We'll arrive at Al Ain, the fourth largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Did you know that it is known as 'The Spring'? You'll find out why on the trip!
To begin, we'll head to Qasar Al Ain, the Al Ain Palace Museum. We'll discover the Bedouin-style architecture of this palace, which was home to the late Sheikh Zayed and his family. We'll also learn all about the life of this Sheikh.
From here, we'll head to Jahili Fort. We'll enter this fortress and marvel at its extensive collection of photographs and admire its 19th-century architecture. This place has been a historically significant strategic point... let's find out why!
Our next stop will be the Al Ain Oasis, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. This immense garden is home to more than 147,000 date palms and features the famous Aflaj irrigation system that brings fresh spring water from the Hajar Mountains.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Jebel Hafeet Mountain, which is the highest mountain in this Emirate. Don't forget your camera! At this point it's likely you'll be quite peckish, so we'll make a stop at a restaurant so you can enjoy an international buffet (drinks not included). Bon appétit!
We'll return to your hotel and finish our day trip to Al Ain at 5 pm.
