Bluewaters Island - What to see and do
Bluewaters Island

Bluewaters Island is an artificial island built especially to please even the most demanding visitors. Ain Dubai, one of Dubai's newest attractions and the world's tallest Ferris wheel, rises above the island.

What to see on Bluewaters Island

As you walk around Bluewaters Island, you'll come across exclusive stores, restaurants, and hotels, but if there's one thing the island stands out for, it's known for being home to the world's tallest Ferris wheel (not surprising that this stunning architectural feat is located in Dubai).

Towering victorious over the extravagant man-made island, Ain Dubai is one of Dubai's newest tourist attractions. Called "the world's tallest Ferris wheel," Ain Dubai is 250 meters (820 feet) high and its luxurious cabins offer unforgettable panoramic views of the city's skyline.

Another attraction to visit on Bluewaters Island is the Madame Tussauds Museum of Dubai, the ideal place to spend some time with your favourite celebrities, or at least strikingly lifelike wax figurines of them.

Bluewaters Island is the ideal setting for a pleasant dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking Dubai Marina.

How to get to Bluewaters Island

The most common options for getting to Bluewaters Island are by car or cab, although it's also possible to use the island's monorail to get to the metro.

Although it's not very common in Dubai to walk, it's possible to reach Bluewaters Island on foot using the delightful pedestrian bridge that goes to the Jumeirah Beach Residence. This is a great way to avoid paying high parking fees.
