Dubai Royal Camel Racing Club Tour
The Royal Camel Racing Club will open its doors at 2:30 pm. Accompanied by the guide, we'll enter the facilities to discover how camel racing is organised in Dubai and the care they receive before racing.
Our first stop will be the stables to see the camels. We'll learn how to feed them while revealing many interesting facts about the desert's most famous animals. For example, how many days can they go without drinking water? What is the maximum speed they can reach in a race?
After meeting our new friends, we'll get into a carriage pulled by camels to go around the competition areas. Afterwards, we'll learn how to ride these animals for another short ride on their backs - a unique experience!
Then it's time to climb up to the Royal Camel Racing Club grandstand and take your seat to watch an authentic camel race in Dubai. You'll notice that, unlike the horse races, there are no jockeys in this competition. We'll reveal this and many other peculiarities as we see who wins.
The visit will end at 5:30 pm, saying goodbye outside the club's facilities.
Hotel pick up
Want to visit the Royal Camel Racing Club without having to worry about transport? If you choose to be picked up from your hotel in Dubai, an English or Spanish speaking driver will take you to the venue and transfer you back to your accommodation at the end of your visit. The pick-up is at 2 pm.
